Timeline of Growth and Success

In an effort to increase engineering resources and to offer our customers a better level of service Cambridge Vibration Maintenance Services (CVMSL) has steadily grown since its inception back in 1982, when Geoff Parrish and a team of service engineers left their previous employment in Royston to start a new independent service organization.

The timeline below will help to demonstrate the significant growth and market acceptance for the company’s products and services. Today, CVMSL is proud to be the world’s largest independent vibration service organization.

1982

Vibration Maintenance Services (VMS) set up operations in Haverhill, Cambridgeshire. MD: Geoff Parrish

1996

Cambridge Vibration Services (CVS)
set up operations in Royston, Hertfordshire. MD: Mark Hagger

1996

Quality Management System Awarded to VMS Ltd.

2002

CVS and VMS merged to form Cambridge Vibration Maintenance Services (CVMSL) Directors: Mark Hagger and Geoff Parrish

2005

CVMSL moved to larger premises ‘Millside’ The Moor, Melbourn.

2006

Setup Strategic Joint Venture between CVMSL and ETS Solutions, Suzhou, China.

2007

UKAS Accredited LAB for the Calibration of Vibration Accelerometers.

2008

Established European Service Engineering Centre for ETS Solutions.

2008

Founder, Geoff Parrish retires but still acts as a consultant.

2009

Service Center setup in Michigan. CVMSL-USA.

2012

European partner for Vibration and Shock Technologies, LLC

2015

Acquired CVMS Systems Š a facility running from California USA offering reconditioned systems, service, parts and repair.
